Why do we collect information?
OSR collects, stores and process information from you in order to enhance the quality of services we provide.
What information do we collect?
You can visit this site without having to reveal any personal information about yourself. However, there are certain “member’s only” areas of the site where access to advanced functionality and services require OSR to collect certain information from you. Minimally, personal information collected would include your name and email address. Other restricted-access areas (for example, access to articles from The NT Insider) may require further personal contact and demographic information.
How do we collect the information?
Except for technical information such as your browser type, operating system, the link you used to arrive at the site, etc. (none of which can be used to identify you), all other information is optionally provided by you, the user. Non-persistent cookies are used for authorization of login. Such cookies are not permanent and will be deleted from your system upon logout or departure from this site. Note that at your option, you may select the "Remember Password" feature, which would place a persistent cookie on your system.
How do we use the information?
OSR will use personal information for our own proper purposes, and we will not sell, rent or exchange your personal information to or with third parties without your permission. Examples of how OSR will use your personal information include:
- To respond to an inquiry or a request for access to services
- To enhance existing or provide new services to you
- To inform you of such enhancements or new services
OSR has a no-spam policy and will not intentionally use or provide email addresses to third party partners, without permission (via opt-in).
Mailing address information provided to OSR will be used to deliver The NT Insider newsletter via mail. On occasion, OSR will provide mailing address information to third party partners to deliver relevant content to our members.
Any demographic information collected may be disclosed in aggregate form to OSR partners and third parties to provide a profile of the users that visit this website.
An exception to the above Policy regarding use of information would be a demand for such information by a government body or court of law.
